AZ ADA Booth
Inside Innovation
My copywriter and I won the winning pitch for Astra Zeneca's ADA booth schematic with Inside Innovation.
In this booth we designed and executed three interactive xbox kinetic games for doctors to play while they were at the booth, along with emails, a Fit2Me food truck, and other booth takeaways.
The three games were for AZ diabetes drug portfolio: Farxiga, Onglyza and Bydureon. Each drug works differently and targets different organs. We worked with medical specialists to understand the fundamentals of how the drug works and designed an interactive experience to bring it to life.
AZ ADA FARXIGA Game
In T2D, too much glucose is reabsorbed into the kidneys, mostly by SGLT2
OBJECT: You are FARXIGA, an SGLT2 inhibitor, keeping excess glucose out of the kidneys
DESCRIPTION: Swipe your hand left to right to deflect 70 grams of glucose into the bloodstream and out of the body in 30 seconds
AZ ADA Onglyza Game
GLP-1 stimulates beta cells to increase the release of insulin. DPP-4 rapidly breaks down GLP-1
OBJECT: You are ONGLYZA, a DPP-4 inhibitor, preserving GLP-1 concentration in the bloodstream
DESCRIPTION: In 30 seconds, “punch out” as many DPP-4 enzymes as you can, allowing GLP-1 to build up
AZ ADA Bydureon Game
GLP-1 enhances insulin secretion and suppresses glucagon secretion, thereby maintaining an important balance in the body
OBJECT: See how GLP-1 works in the body to help modulate nutrient delivery in the body, and understand the importance of BYDUREON, a GLP-1 agonist
DESCRIPTION: You have 30 seconds to “throw” GLP-1 receptor agonists at the various targets and maintain the ideal balance in the body
